In 1964 Dorino Livon bought his first vineyard on the hills of the Collio and gradually added more to that.  At the same time the plan to build his own wine-making cellar developed, perfectly equipped and with the most advanced technological systems.

From 1992 to 1997, the Livon family decided to buy three farms and in 2001 the Livon family completed their range of production by buying the Fattoria Col santo in the municipality of Bevagna (Perugia) in the Montefalco DOCG area.

On the other sides, they started to develop new lines to fit market demands,  Borgo Viscone was one of them. Now Livon becomes a farm, with a global strategy, extremely diversified, with several diverse brands and over 200 hectares of vines, with products destined to cover, in their different positions, different areas of the market.
